soft hours, a travel journal.

Hey, I’m Julia.

I started soft hours as a way to document my travels and share my observations from places I visit. I’m into travel that doesn’t feel rushed or over-planned. It’s less about must-sees, and more about local cafés, ceramics shops, good food, and the light hitting just right at golden hour.

This space is a mix of photos, notes, and places I don’t want to forget. Almost all the images you’ll see here are mine. I shoot while I walk, eat, explore, get lost. I like to notice the rhythm of a place: how people live, what’s on the table, what’s in the window.

soft hours is for slow explorers, curious eyes, and people who want to travel like they’re already part of the neighbourhood.

What you’ll find:

  • city notes & visual diaries

  • soft guides (not too many places, just the good ones)

  • design and local maker highlights

  • food & wine impressions

If that sounds like your pace, you can subscribe for updates. I send out new posts a couple times a month, sometimes a little more if I’m somewhere fun!

You can pull up a seat, scroll a bit, maybe get inspired to book your next trip. Or just enjoy the view :)
